Installation Options

We have attempted to simplify the installation of e-Classifieds on your web server. For example, all of the user-configurable variables are contained in just one file, and each variable is preceded by a paragraph of text that explains what that variable does and how it should be set. The package also includes a README.TXT file that contains full configuration and installation instructions. Nonetheless, while we have made every attempt to make installing these programs as easy as possible, it's still true that if you have never installed a CGI program before, it can seem like a daunting process. That's why we are now offering professional installation for a modest fee of only $35. That way, you don't have to mess with setting variables, uploading files, setting permissions in Unix, and the like. You can just sit back while we do all the work for you. And since we developed these programs and know them inside and out, you can rest easy, knowing that the programs will be installed right. All you have to do is provide us with FTP and Telnet access information for your server, such as your username and password. We may also ask you or your hosting company for certain information such as the location of Perl 5, your e-mail program (Sendmail or Blat), and the path to the cgi-bin on your server.

If you would like us to professionally install your classified ads program on your server for only $35, please let us know at the time of purchase.
