When you purchase a license to use one of the e-Classifieds products, you are also purchasing access to the company that builds them. Within reason, we will assist you with any questions or problems that may arise during your configuration and installation of the program. We can be reached by e-mail at support@classifiedsnetwork.com or by telephone at +1 703-273-9642. We prefer to handle all technical support issues by e-mail if at all possible. If, after contacting us, you are still unable to install the program successfully, we can install it for you for a modest $35 charge. Ongoing support or customized programming is available on an hourly basis (rates vary depending on the type of work requested, but typically range between $75 and $125 per hour).

Special Announcement

We have released new versions of the Lite Edition, Basic Edition, and Photo Edition. Version 2.0 includes many new features over the original Version 1.0 release. Some of these features have been added in incremental upgrades, so you may already have some of them. Improvements over the original 1.0 release include the following:

Duplicate checking to block duplicate ads. Useful for blocking spammers or those users who seem to hit the "Submit" button repeatedly.
The ability to optionally charge for renewals and to set the amount of this charge in the user configuration file.
Many more variables for setting the background colors and text colors for the various tables and forms produced by the program.
Asterisks (*) are now used to denote required fields on the input forms
The maintenance programs that automatically purge old ads, send out e-mail notices to users whose ads are about to expire, and send out new ads to subscribers of the Keyword Notify service can now be run in four different ways, including as cron jobs, as Telnet files, from your web browser, or automatically as built-in routines of the main classifieds program. The variables that control these programs have also been simplified in order to be easier to understand.
New internationalization features, including a "Country" field
The "European date" option has been improved so that you can now toggle this on or off in the user configuration file without affecting your ads database. Dates are always stored in the same format now.
The ability to define varying lengths of time for the ads to remain posted on the system.
Architectural changes that make the program easier to install
A nice new "Headlines" format for displaying the ads in the Photo Edition
The HTML header section in the user configuration file has been improved to give you more control over the appearance of the program. You can now even include JavaScript or other code in the section of your pages.
Windows NT support
Web-based Control Panel that allows you to send out e-mail notices to users whose ads are about to expire, purge old ads, run the Keyword Notify program (Basic and Photo Edition only), preview new ads before they are posted, view your mailing list, clear your mailing list, or send out a mass e-mail to your mailing list. As before, you can also modify or delete any ad from the web interface.

Registered owners of any of these versions can upgrade to the new versions for FREE. If you wish to do so, please contact us at upgrade@classifiedsnetwork.com and mention which version you have that you wish to upgrade. Since the new versions use a slightly different ads format, we have created a conversion program that you would run when you upgrade your program. If you have been using the European date format, you may need to manually modify your ads or start fresh.
